Thumbs up Shop Recommendation: Kaizen Motorsports

Recently I ran into problems while upgrading my rear brakes to the Supra TT and had to seek professional help. I took my car out to Kaizen Motorsports, who specializes in Supras and other JZ powered Lexus vehicles, and, of course, I brought my camera with me to snap up some pictures.

At the shop, Jose Valle, was able to help get my car back on the road. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend the shop to anyone that needs work on their JZ powered car. Jose has quite a bit of experience and knowledge when it comes to our cars.

Anyways, the shop is currently being relocated but here are some pictures

JustDrift JZA80 Mk4 Supra outside

JDM RHD Evo VI

Nissan R32 GT-R that fell off some other shop's lift

SC300 w/ 3.4 Stroker & Turbonetics Turbo

Vinh's SC300 undergoing a 2JZ-GTE swap

And my car

If I remember correctly, You couldn't remove your rotor...What was the real problem as to why it couldn't come off?

I think the spacer was stuck. Corrosion formed around the hub

The spacer usually gets stuck but theres a trick to it. Unbolt the spacer from the rotors and then put the wheels back on, loosely put on the lug nuts, then shake it a bit

The problem was the corrosion on both the hub ring and between the rotor and the hub. It required brute force with the sliding hammer pictured to get them off

Mine never gets stuck. I apply anti-seize compound between the spacer and the rotor.
