hey guys i was wondering if anyone else have recieved this card from lexus?! its a $500 gift card from lexus or something they said i can buy anything with it only from the dealership and i was wondering if i can buy something from the carson dealership or somthing from l-tunedparts.com

$500 off a new car purchase?

i, as well as WofLuxury, received a $500 savings card, redeemable as part of a brand new or used lexus or toyota at longo, or for 10-15% off parts. i was gonna use it for a new ride for my parents, but found a better deal after negotiations and presenting the savings card. but the $500 gift card i am pretty sure are for those with the recall. it'd be nice if we as lexus owners got some of these perks in the mail every now and again just to show how much we mean to them

I got the $500 gift card and the $1,500 new car/lease voucher which is good up to 1 year after I took in my car for the valve spring recall. It seems most got the $1,500 new car/lease voucher, the ones that got the gift card seem to be owners that purchased extended warranty via Lexus or 3rd party (mine was 3rd party), and those without expended warranty got their powertrain warranty upgraded to more years and miles. This happened well over a month ago though, not sure if they are giving the gift card to everyone now, but there are quite a few large threads on the 2IS section on this.

My car was in dealership for the recall as well and all I got was extended powertrain warranty and $1500 off thing

I'm assuming you didn't buy an extended warranty? If so, some have said to call corporate and whine, but I don't think anyone has gotten a gift card from that. Putting it in perspective though, an extended warranty is $1,600ish if you buy directly from Lexus. $500 back for Lexus only purchases isn't too bad of a tradeoff vs not spending $1,600 and getting an extended powertrain warranty for free.

technically 500 only for people with extended warranty (purchased). otherwise you get extended warranty

Yeah...Henry is right, I have the extended warranty and I received $500 gift card, $1,500 off on the next Lexus car and complimentary extended powertrain warranty.
