Default Koi ponds?

Looking for some nice koi ponds publically available and if possible in the OC. I haven't seen the one at Long Beach State... The landscaping is a plus but not necessary, just looking for the older larger fish.

LOL...no photo's. Had a request but the fish in this pond were on the smaller side. The series I shot was rejected.

I had shot part of the pond in Kaneohe, Byodo-In Temple but it was done on film. That is a gorgeous location and I've wanted to go back. Just not possible for this shoot to be timely.

This one was a pond in Beverly Hills. I also shot some at Newport Fashion Island but those were rejected. CSU Long Beach will probably be the next attempt for me, otherwise I'm out of the bidding for the project. It is highly likely my competing peers will also use this location so the odds are against me.

San Diego spots are welcome.

Try the huntington Library. It's about 10 bucks to get in though, but some nice koi pond.

Good one. I didn't even think of the Huntington Library.

Just got word...they found a photographer. Oh well... I'll still shoot some for my reference. As much as I enjoy these projects, driving cross town to hunt them down becomes tiring. Now I can do it at my leisure.

Thanks guys.

The Japanese Garden at Balboa is nice...I haven't been there in a few years but do recall wanting to come back with the gear to do some shots.
