Hi guys and girls,


On a Saturday (April 10th) morning between 10am-11am, unfortunately my grandma walking home from the park was stopped by 3 asian people "asking for directions" and was later hypnotized or something into believing she has cancer and this group of asian people told my grandmother to give them the money to find a doctor and help her. Well, my grandmother was hypnotized and she gave the money (talking about 20k here). We did call the cops and everything, but I don't want any more victims. Thus, I am spreading the word! In addition, I was wondering if anyone was between Stevens Ave. and Hellman Ave (the mental hospital) and or between Hellman Ave. and New Ave. witness this or know someone that might have. My grandma has short hair (greyish and little bit curly) about 5' 4". From what she remembered was theres 3 other asian people and driving a dark blue/black sedan. I really want to catch these people. I will try to get more detail. Thanks guys

my grandma gave her all cash... this was her retirement money that she saved up over the years. those f**ckers are working in groups. one was talking to her and I believe another blow some gas behind her and she was felt dizzy and sat in their car... after, they tell her to look at this clock or box with some ticking sound while continue to talk to her. I think that did it.... I didnt believe hypnosis work but this group/organization are around this community finding for older victims!!!

Oh wtf, that's pretty messed up. I'll keep a lookout for them since I don't live too far from where the incident happen. If I see anything, i'll PM you about it. So it was just only three Asians? Anything else you can describe them?

from my grandma... they are viet decent (since their cantonese were not perfect?) the lady who approached her was wearing a thick gold necklace and bracelet ( wonder where they get all the money from...). I will see if my grandma can make out the face of those people and so I can probably post the drawing of them on CL. (mods please let me know if i can do that?)

that is very unfortunate that ppl would prey on the elderly. Did any of those perps go into the bank with her? Wouldn't the bank find it odd that your grandma would withdraw 20k in one day? Hope they catch those aholes.
