Need to see picture of bumper. If is scratched up and need new paint its going to be around be around $400 or more. If is badly damage you might have to buy either oem or aftermarket bumper. So depends on how bad it is.

Try to hit up your local auto body shop. Check on Yelp and see the reviews. Call them and get an estimate. Tell them the insurance will pay for it.

To bad you guys live too far. I know a reputable auto body shop can help you out with the situation but L.A. is pretty far from S.D

Just get an OEM bumper. Shouldn't cost too much. Get it painted at Autonetwork in SGV.

It doesn't look that bad. They will probably push it out or bondo it up. But my suggestion is bring to your local auto body shop and get a quick estimate.

well that will not worth to repair. it will crack easy if you repair. ther is 2 option. either replace it with OEM or recondition it. recondition will cost little less but depends. send me pm tomorrow with vin i can run estimate and send you copy for replacing with OEM bumper. $900 for deductible???? what kinda insurance she have???? from what i know is front bumpers have 2 piece lower spoilers under the bumper. if that is damaged too it might be little more higher. send me little more detail photo if bottom of the bumper shot is availble that will be better. let me know dude.

she's lucky she didn't trash her fog light. i'd personally go with a completely new bumper, they're around 400 bucks, then paint, and install it for her yourself. they're really easy to remove and replace. it probably pulled her bumper down a little bit so there might be a gap in the line under the headlight

Why don't you tell her bring to the shop and get the answer from the pro. You're better off getting the answer from them.

yeah it's fixable. but some bodyshop uses body filler to repair that and paint. if then whne someone lightly tap the bumper during parking it will crack like there is no tomorrow. trust me i do this for living and i see lots of them happend. if you can find someone that used good bumper repair kit(these are not cheap. one case is like 300 bux and had 3 small tubes in it.) it will be same as oem bumper once it dry.

around 300-400 for recondition and 400-500 for new bumper + paint... imo, dont go through insurance.. just pay out of pocket...
you could buy a bumper anywhere, from dealerships to ebay..

like i said dude pm me with vin and little more detailed picture i'll write up an estimate and e-mail it to you or her. so you can see how much it will cost parts, paint, labor etc.
from there you or she can deside what to do.
