Can you SoCal'ers believe this? There's a Tornado watch! It's POURING right now here in Corona.

i am in newport beach and from 1pm to 1:30pm it was no joke here. everything was white outside, rain was all sideway and very strong wind.

Sucks for the cars breaking down in the middle of the road right now. Saw a couple stop in dips because of the floods.

Jay...the watch is over now pretty much in all of SoCal. The rain isn't going to letup till this weekend. We need it though. Just remembered to shut off my sprinklers! Oops!

yup, just for the past few hours. it was one of the larger storms that are hitting us this week. i think this week we are getting 4 storms

Yeah, my GF text me and said there was a Tornado Watch. I thought she was joking. Turns out it was true! She recorded some footage from her office window (Newport Beach). I was reading the news, it was said Newport had gusts of up to 72mph.

Actually, it's not that great...

PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Solid, generally sloppy surf, and VAS conditions prevail this afternoon as our W/NW swell mix builds further. Better breaks across the region have solid overhead surf, with double-overhead+ sets at standout exposures. Not looking like a surf afternoon.
