Smile Tustin Lexus gave me IS250C as loaner

So as the title says...I brought my car in for service over the weekend and lo and behold, my SA gave me an ISC complete with Nav (real time traffic) and Sirius XM.

While it was fun driving a convertible, I gotta say the ISC is soooo slowwww. And I noticed a lot of creaking noises when the roof is up.

But anyway, this thread isn't about the car, it's just a shout out to Tustin Lexus because they've always been great with me.

Anyone else got awesome loaners to drive and where did you get them? Do share!

So, the IS-C was a loaner?

You lied on Facebook!

Anyways, coming from an IS350 sedan (which is 400 lbs lighter), the IS250C will undoubtably feel sluggish.

Haha I tricked you guys. 400 lbs and roughly 100 less hp makes a HUGE difference.

It was incredibly bad...the creaking. I tried putting the top down and back up, hoping it'd go away but unfortunately that didn't work.

ummm, that's not good. i know winter is probably the time to "test" convertibles creaking (my m3 is under testing now), but given the sc430 i had a lot of faith in lexus, but with yours i am very surprised

you know, you can just go down to your local Lexus dealer and see the 2is convertible in person...

but as far as those "topless" pics go... lol.

Wow? An ISC? Did they make a mistake? Nice! My dealership gives out the standard ES, RX, or IS. You were fortunate!

LOL no mistake here. Tustin Lexus has a couple of ISC's they're giving out as loaners. I went in there just wanting a loaner with NAV and my service adviser surprised me with the ISC. He knows my style...he knows I'm not about the soccer mom RX nor am I the old fart ES so ISC was more fitting for me.
