Dude you can also look into the speed venture days..If you go out in the white group or blue depending on the day that group has some pretty slow drivers. I mean SLOW....trust me after you do your first one in that group you will be itchn to move up.. Also if you are better than most they do let you move up if there is room in a faster group. So if you do 2 session in say white & you are getting held up you can ask to be moved to a faster group..

a couple of guys I know are signed up for Monday 21,thru Speedventures. One of them has a really fast is300 with supra swap enjine & trannie.
2jz-gte-v161. The other has a stock is300(i think). I just thought I'll share that. I may roll out there with them( with my semi-modded IS300)

I'll even go with you to your first track day! It will be fun, and you wont have to worry about being to slow, you can drive to your comfortable limits... : )
