I just bought a 01 is300.

And i want to do a full tune up on the car.
I want the whole nine yard done. Spark plugs, timing belt and water pump.

If there any local mechanics around the OC area
Plz PM me with a price quote.

I can provide all the parts, I just need cost of labor.

Or if u guys can refer me to a good mechanic
that wont rip me off. I would really appreciate it.

And how much did those shop quote u guys before?
I wanna get a good baseline of price before i call them.

Vinam almost works exclusively on my car now. He did my 90k service, replacing all the seals etc.

Dynamic worked on my car before too but Vinam is priced alot more competitively. Dynamic has a cleaner shop though.

Both are very good shops on here with a loyal following.

Go to Vinam, ask for Tho, and tell him that Jerry with the red SC300 sent you. For something like that, I would suggest you buy all the parts online. Oem waterpumps can be found on ebay or craigslist for cheap. I think I picked my OEM Aisin waterpump off eBay for like 100 bucks brand new. For all the others, get it online from an out of state dealer. Without the pump, parts should run you around 300 bucks

i'd recommend car aid if you must take it to a shop in orange mo is a stand up guy and is very well known in the supra community for over 8 years

Vinam is the only shop to touch my car. I've done almost all the service on my car since I don't like paying people to work on my car, but when I need something done that I can't handle I take it to Tho. I was just at his shop yesterday with my friend.

So far i got a price quote from a CL member for $220
for timing and water pump...

I'm gettin rdy to buy ebay water pump
and OEM everything else...man lexus stuff are
expensive lol...guess u gotta pay to play.

if you are still looking i know a former Lexus Tech who now works independantly from home and i trust his work implicitly... he helped build my car and has probably spent more time on my car than any other...

Aside from ME... he is the only guy i will let touch it any more ..... PM me for the Ph number as it is his private cell.... he also can go mobile if needed and come to u if that makes the most sense.


His Prices are Freaking Fabulous also,.... with no SHOP overhead costs etc.....he passes on the savings to the customer directly.

I have yet to hear of any price he set for any work be beaten by ANY shop around.... he is regularly 50+ percent less than any dealer for just about ANYTHING...

Freddy At AutoFashion should know what's up and another +1 for Vinam.
I use to go to MT auto in Gardena but Vinam's price is a lot more reasonable.
