Thats Why I never Talk back to an officer
weather or not he is right, Last Sunday My gal got pulled over for
No reason just a rouine stop.
Officer walked around and found:
No Front Plate, Tinted Windows,
and a hankie hanging from the rear view mirror.
+ white corners w/ white bulbs...
Since we were polite and she was being honest and smiling
He just asked the usual if we had warrants or if we was on prob.
then he let us go.

you know, i think age plays a big part in what cops do to you. when i was younger and my car was modified, cops would always bug me about everything. now if i get pulled over, well its only happened once since i got the IS, cops seem cool, even though my car is pretty heavily modified.

The cop in his situation could have been thinking that...
Do you find it funny that a COP would post up outside a doughnut shop on multiple occasions?
Remember we are all here just having fun.
I like the Police. I do nothing illegal and I dont ever get pulled over...
Its such an easy system to follow...

yeah maybe they need coffee to stay alert for his 14 hour shift or a snack... maybe that section is a border for his patrol.... I understand your trying to poke a bit of laughs but I think a little more tact would be better... especially considering we do not want cops to bunch us in with the ricer forums.
I agree...
Most time I see COPs in a doughtnut shop it is to buy coffee.

Just to name a few, I got pulled over by Laguna Beach PD twice in downtown at 2 and 4 am, Huntington Beach PD, Costa Mesa PD, Newport Beach PD, and Orange County Sheriff in various areas including the local canyon roads late at night.
Luckily, knock on wood, I have yet to receive a ticket during a traffic stop.
I do my best to make their lives easier by not having tint, turning on my interior lights if it is at night, turning off my engine, rolling down my windows and keeping my hands on the steering wheel.
More importantly, I also try to show who's boss - which is them - by addressing them as sir or officer, and I comply with whatever they ask and not talk-back or argue. If I did something wrong and they asked why, I would be apologetic and say that is my mistake etc (There's no point to BS since both me and the cop know exactly why I got pulled over. That will just **** them off.)
My luckiest incidents were in downtown Laguna Beach on PCH by Main Beach. Twice, I drove through the area at 60+ mph late at night while the speed limit is 30 mph. I literally panicked since I wasn't eligible for traffic school at the time due to camera tickets so I couldn't afford the 30+ mile over the speed limit fine and the insurance hike Since Laguna Beach has a lot of traffic enforcement late at night in the weekends, I got pulled over by 3 or 4 patrol cars each time.
They asked me if I had anything illegal in the car and asked for permission to search the car. I replied, "No sir, I don't have anything in the car. Go ahead, feel free to look through if its necessary for you". They didn't bother but they pointed out how I lack a front plate and how I have a "modified exhaust, which is illegal". After checking my records, they gave me a warning to drive safe and let me go on both incidents.
Similar things happened during my other traffic stops as well, whether I was speeding or just did not have a front plate. Alot of the times, they asked for permission to look through the trunk (none of them ever did look through) and warned about my vehicle code violations.
So far I am really lucky
