Default Anyone affected by the fires?

As the title states, anybody here heavily affected by the fires? Sky has been filled with clouds, it is hard for me to breathe, and there is a huge layer of ash on my car which I just washed on Sunday. Hope everyone stays safe out there!

My girlfriends house is close to the Sunland mountains. But it isnt in any immediate danger, Fire Crew has it contained pretty well in that community.

On the other hand, a co-worker of mine had his house hosed down w/ water by the Fire department and was advised to evacuate along with most his neighbors.

Hope all are safe out there and take advice from all Fire crew and law enforcement.

Also wanted to say thanks to the Fire fighters out there (if any on CL too!) for doing a great job fighting day in and out.

Get the ash off your car ASAP. It'll etch your paint. Sorry to hear about your friend's dad Ant

I think one of my favorite motorcycle hangouts, Newcomb's Ranch in Angeles Crest Highway, has burned down.
