Good mechanic in Glendale, La Crescenta, Pasadena area? (The Mother thread)
Hi, I just got a 02 es300 and I'm looking for a good mechanic in the area to take the car to for regular maintenance. Does anybody have any suggestions of a good mechanic near La Crescenta, Glendale/Pasadena area?

He closes @ 5:30 and does not have voicemail system. Best mechanic I've been to. Services mostly seminary students in the area. I had checked out 5 places to have my brakes done, and he had the best price. Everyone there is ASI or AIS certified, whatever that means. Straight up guy, was also featured on the news a while ago as someone honest. Some mechanic told me I needed to get new brakes asap, but when I drove it to Hrant, he said my brakes would be fine for another few oil changes...

LA Lexus Mechanic
Hello LSC:
I am coming up on the dreaded 90K mile timing belt/water pump service and want to explore some non-agency repair options. In addition to being overly expensive, I have been unimpressed with the service at Lexus dealers in BH and Santa Monica.
I have read good things about the independent shop in Westminster that people seem to love, but that is a bit far for me. Can somebody please recommend an independent certified lexus mechanic in the LA area that I can trust with my SC430 and where I might save a few bucks?
