WoW! The manager from M1 sounds like a douche of the century...
I am not familiar with M1's work, so I can't say much, but I did see a M1 shop car 2 weeks ago at a Seven 11 in SGV. It was a purple Z3/Z4 with riced out modifications with M1 Autobody sticker on the front windshield.....hmmm
...I didn't know I traveled back in time to 1998
Platinum has been doing excellent works for many years and like many of you mentioned here, there are many level of service within the same industry and Platinum VIP offers the higher level of care and craftsmanship.
Many members has solid testimonies of reasons of not going to M1, but only rumors for Platinum VIP, and it's always a hearsay from another person...weird
There are many of you who attended the Friday night meet at Platinum's location and for those who has experienced the event got free drinks and food. Which shop has done that on a regular basis? Do you guys ever see M1 at any of Clublexus meet? Contributed to the holiday meet? host any meet(s) at the location? Something to think about...
Oh btw, did Ford approach M1 to build a Flex for SEMA 2008? I didn't think so...

oh and one more thing.. M1 rips off authentic body kits from Japan...
Platinum only use the original JDM equipments: NO COPYs!!
Platinum imports any JDM VIP kits from Japan and do not deal with copy products... They also do custom fabrications
