White LED = not legal i had a buddy back in the day that did this to his SI and got nailed everywhere only a fix it ticket but do you really want to keep giving 10-15 bucks to the court ?

iirc, signals (warning/hazard) must be amber/orange or red.
hence, yes, they are illegal, however, correctable violations.

im running white turn signal lights front and back. the front of the is350/250 has two turn signal bulbs per side. plus mine are LED so they are bright and they also blink really fast. im not taking them out until i get a ticket.

lol I got a ticket for that back in the day on my integra, but looking back on it now, that was a good thing. Amber looks way better, at least on that car hhehehe

actually guys as long as your turn signal lights in the front are WHITE and not BLUE (ie-greater than ~5000-5500k in color) then you are very much Legal in the state of california. for the rear though you do need red or amber.

CVC 24953(a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.
