Default Fuel Delivery Pipes....recall?

Anybody get a safety recall notice about getting their fuel delivery pipes (fuel rails) replaced? Because I just got it today and I'm getting it fixed on Thursday. Anybody!?

Yeah this is something all the Lexus owners are getting...those that are affected by the recall. They are doing it in stages. There are many that have already gotten it done. Schedule an appointment to have it replaced at your Lexus dealer of choice.

Thanks...I am taking it in this Thursday.

I guess I'm just trippin' because I'm too protective of my car AND...someone at my work hit my car the other day!! So now I have a dent in my hood and a missing piece of paint!!!!! So getting the letter kinda bothered me.

Don't forget to bring your car in on empty, Lexus will fill your tank up

No, they should be sending you a letter if you need the work done. No harm in calling though and finding out sooner.

I think all IS is affected but Lexus is doing the recall in stages in order not to over flow the dealers. However, you can just call your local dealer and they'll let you know if your car has outstanding service campaigns or not.

i went to newport lexus too, they hooked me up w/ an is 250.... freaking has noooo power compared to my 350 hahaha which sucked, but it took them 3 days, took it in early friday morning, got it back sunday.

its probably going to t ake a while because there is alot of lexus' out there affected by this recall... its got the dealers super busy, my mom went to westminister to service her RX and they gave her a KIA because they ran out of lexus loaners loololol
