Default LAX Parking

I'm leaving for a 10 day trip in a few weeks for business. I've been reading online all the parking lots around LAX and it worries the hell outta me.

Nobody can take me to the airport and Johnny Park, LAX ParkPlace, all these scare the hell outta me. I dont wanna spend too much money either.

Anyone know of any parking places or have any experiences they can share?

Let me think pay $40-50 for a taxi or $1000's for stolen car HMMMMM, if its a business trip have the company pay for it - i hear wright for the company.

Do the taxi thing..plus LAX has that shuttle service that they offer..look into that and leave the car in the garage next to your 219.

is there a flyaway around your area?

get a taxi to the flyaway, then its only 4-5 bucks all the way to LAX.

I have used the flyaway out of the van nuys station, and its the best deal you can find.

I was curious about this too, in that I rarely use LAX anymore and wondered who's good these days. I used to use Park Place, but that was eons ago.

Anyway, a little research at Yelp produced this:

People seem very happy with this establishment.

Good luck.

Don't you have any friends? I'm sure they can make a trip to LAX for you...just take them for a drink when you get back.

I say just take the shuttle. It'll be about the same price as parking and you won't have to drive in LA traffic when you get back.

How far is LAX from your house? It's 50 miles from South OC and I believe our Super Shuttle was $75 each way. Cheaper than long term parking.

Call one of the private shuttle services and ask for a private one-way deal. We usually pay $65 for the two of us and tip the guy $5 or so. Not wanting to deal with traffic, we've also had family drop us at a local airport hotel for an overnight if the flight is early morning. The hotel shuttle does the rest. Either way, cost is about $130 or so for a round trip.

We mainly fly from OC John Wayne and use Advantage Ground Transport Corp.
I dunno if they have a LAX route but you can inquire. 714.557.2465
From call to pick-up, we wait on average about 10 minutes.

I detest Super Shutlle cattle pick-up's. I timed one trip and it was 80 minutes to drop off the three other parties. Never again after a long flight. You can request private service from them too and I recall it being like $85.

Yeah, now that I think of it, we did not use Super Shuttle. I think it was also Advanced, but will have to check. We did a private deal with no other stops or pickups.
