Default What's going on with Backyard Creations?

I've been unable to reach Joe by email or phone. I sent an email on 12/29, no reply since. Called and was told he'd be back 1/5. Five business days later, I call once again. Joe is still unavailable, this time he'd be back at around 12:00. Left my name & number.

..still no reply?

Called again - nobody picks up.

Anyone able to recommend a shop that does quality work around the 562?

I know someone that gets alot of work done at Backyard. I believe Joe had a baby between xmas and New Years!!

Congrats to him, and perhaps this is the reason for him being a little hard to reach

From what I heard Joe is going through some tough time now with family. If you are looking for another alternative, try Sixteen Custom in Gardena. I had both Hiro at Sixteen and Joe at Backyard work on my cars before. Both are good.

I need an estimate on some refinishing work done on the front bumper in an area that's not more than ½ ft. by 1 ft.

Since there's a good amount of shops in the area, I guess I'll be heading towards El Monte instead. Every shop is at least 20 minutes drive away.

Had the same experience before. Called and no one picked up or returned phone calls. If he doesn't change customers will just pass on like life does.

anyone have suggestions on where I could get my hood painted it the 909/951 area?

Its Obsidian and I need it GFM. Anyone know of a place that can match the factory color? BackYard always did the best job.

+1 for Platinum VIP. They are great with body and paint. Give them a try.
