Oak Tree Inn is chinese food. I always get the sweet and sour filet of rock cod or something like that.

Haha yea that's funny about monterey park and pizzeria. I've lived in the area for 14 years and just found out about the place within the past year. It is right across the street from Shakas in monterey park. They serve thin crust pizza. The place is kind of small so it fills up quick. Here is a link about them: http://www.yelp.com/biz/bollinis-piz.../query:bollini

ooh chanos, I've always drove by there but never tried it.

ding tai fung is kinda over-rated IMO, can get same quality for cheaper, actually the little restaurant right across the street of ding tai fung is just as good without the crowd.

where is shogun? for sushi and sashimi, alot of the authentic japanese owned places in JTown seem to be the better places, however for teriyaki, tokyo lobby on las tunas is the BEST. I've searched for better teriyaki and have yet to find it, their teriyaki sauce ROCKS I kid u not ! You figure teriyaki sauce is teriyaki sauce right ?

I also hear the japanese owned Best Sushi in temple city - arcadia is also excellent for sushi sashimi and well priced. You pay for the quality, not the ambiance.
