Wow, that is outrageous. $140 to install a PnP HID kit?

You would need someone to open up your headlights. Replace the halogen bowls with HID bowls and then reseal them. Do a search for retrofit. It is not hard.

yeah, if i wasn't so lazy and always busy, i'd install the kit myself and save the 40 bucks. but for the HID bowl itself you're inquiring about, i never asked him. his lights come with a 15 or 18 month guarantee. just went yesterday cuz i thought my left side was done, but turns out, since my accident, they screwed up on the wiring on the left hand side. i got the best luck!

I've never opened headlights before, scared of breaking something.

I'd rather have it done by someone who knows what they're doing.

any shops/people recommendations in oc would be appreciated

anyone? willing to pay someone for the services for the surgery

i've decided to go an alternate route for the moment, i have a pair of 98-00 housings and i want to black out the chrome bezel. so the surgery became a little easier?
