i got a pretty good deal on my tires at:

look for donald and ask him what current deals he has. i got a good price on the tires but i dunno if i would have em mount em. i was cringing when i saw them try to stretch the tire on. they were having lotsa trouble but i didn't see any marks or gouges on the lip or face so...?

He's a good guy if you buy stuff like wheels, but is inconsistent in the way he treats you at least from my experience. I purchased the lifetime alignment and the other guys have that "whatevers" attitude when I use it. 
Anyways, alot of good places recommended above. I believe Tire Central only takes cash so just be prepared before you go. You can also look up user "discounttiredirect" on ebay for some pretty good tire deals with free shipping. They also have their regular website by the same name.

ask for vic, he is the boss. i know him well i ve baught alot of wheels from him to the point where we are friends outside that place...good place for wheels too, especially if you want something from japan. here are two exapmles of the calliper of wheels he carries..the gold ones i walked in and got off the shelf.

went to discount tires in el monte about a 8 months ago and wasn't too happy. bought all 4 tires there when i was putting new rim on and the lug nuts wouldn't fit and they charged me 55.00 for the nuts. that was ridiculous but had not choice at the time....
at least you got your wheels on.

But I personally wouldn't go back. paid 800.00 for my tires and I think the nuts could have been lower....Just my opinion...
