I dunno bout california tint. my cousin got his headlight installed there and they messed that up and water got into it. thats pretty unprofessional to me..... In Alhambra theres Promax (i just retinted my front for 6% all around and got my taillights smoked out there today) Thier price is 110-140 for 7 windows.

My buddy got his tint over at Rich's Tint Shoppe on Nogales next to Alamo Car Wash. Seemed like a pretty good deal, I believe he paid $150 for front and rear windows. They use Madico film.

sounds more like a poorly made headlight than an error in installation

Nah the Headlights were stock. He replaced the bulb on the side that went out and when he went to get an oil change at Longo the advisor told him his headlight had water in it and the bulb was loose.
