San Diego junkyards usually up their prices close to dealership pricing. If I were you I would look online for parts. Have you tried ebay? What exactly are you looking for?

Down south, chula vista junkyards. Right by knotts soak city. Those places charge a grip. I have gone their several times and had to haggle the price down for what they were asking. Ex. 98 honda civic center trim piece, they were trying to sell it to me for $110. Dealership is charging $120. Not really a big price difference, especially for a part that is used. The only time you can really get a decent deal is when its a holiday, everything is 50% off. heheheh

Ecology is cheaper than the rest because you go and take the part off yourself. they can careless if you steal some bulbs or something. 2 dollars to enter

you have to pay more $4 to get in pick your part to get in the premo lot 91+ and also the selection of cars is unorganized and there are a lot less cars there in general

Don't mean to revive a dead thread but we own Advance Auto Wrecking here in SD. The guy comparing Stealership/online prices to our lots prices as being a fact is not the truth.

If anyone needs anything for their Toyota/Lexus/Scion head down there on Energy Way, my bro would me more then welcome to help. Lot's of IS guys with wrecked cars come to us for things you can never get online or through a dealer (I.E. A section of a quarter panel)
