Ultimately, it's up to YOU to choose the body shop - it's your car and the insurance company cannot make you go with one of their shops.

That being said, Backyard Creations is the only shop I trust with my toys.
The do insurance work, I don't think working with your insurance company would be any problem for them.

you can also give Platinum Motorcars a call in El Monte.

He has been working with Lexus and dealing with insurance company for years. He is very familiar with the State Farm system and the adjustors.

correct, it's you who chooses the body shop, not backyard. they have no control. when our car got hit, we chose the body shop that wasn't under statefarm, and they still paid

the thing is i was driving on the freeway and a rubbermaid bin or something like taht flew into my lane and i couldnt swerve cuz there were two cars blockin me in so i had to hit it =[[[[[[[[. so yea i wanted to just fix it myself, but my dad said we r going to go through insurance. so im guessing i can only take it to shops covered by state farm?

nop, not the case. when you claim insurance you still have the choice to go to whatever body shops you want. if the price from body shop doesn't match the quote from the insurance, then it's up to the body shop and adjuster to come to an agreement (a good and reasonable shop can always explain to adjuster for a reasonable price)
