Default Insurance Claim w/ Aftermarket Mods...

I was attacked by an unidentifiable object moving at a high rate of speed composed of glass, plastic and metal roughly the size of 2 basketballs. This object landed square into my front license plate and did $2000 of damage (front bumper to be completely replaced, grill, painted hood, and the underbody lining).

When you see the car though, it looks like a $350 job (touch-up, buff, polish, wax, maybe not the bumper and the underbody lining, but still its $2K to replace all those lovely items).

My problem is my car is lowered to the last coil on Tein CS coilovers sitting on 20" wheels. Will the bodyshop have a problem with my car being modified? Can they say the reason the underbody lining was so damaged was because my car was lowered?

I already gave the claim # to the bodyshop and we did the initial inspeciton/photos so all I have to do now is drop it off for repairs.

Thanks,
Jason
