Hi Guys,

GReddySetG PMed me about Tein CS/EDFC sales and installation at...

Has anyone heard of them and can post some feedback? Their prices are great, but I'm hesitant to have such an intensive installation done there if I've never seen/heard of their work.

ive dealt with danny many times, hes a cool guy and nick does great work, he is ase certified in many fields and also teaches automotive at a couple highschools...

danny is a cool guy and is pretty known on the MR2OC, he also did my friends swap and i might go to him to do a tranny swap on my SC. assuming i can find a decent tranny ==\

i thought he already bought the coilovers, just lookin for install place

tein doesnt void their warranty if u use ur own installer do they?

I don't know if he did or did not buy the coilovers yet. But I mean, who is more experienced with Tein coilover than an authorized dealer. No, Tein does not void their warranty if you use your own installer. But if there is a problem, an authorized dealer will be able to solve a warranty issue much more quickly and easily than a non-authorized dealer.

I rate this shop a 6.5 out of 10, mostly due to lack of experience...

Danny, the shop owner, showed up 3 hours late.

His dad, the "head technician" struggled to install the coilovers.

Their shop hand, ran a red light giving me a ride in a customer's car.

Creaking noises were misdiagnosed and resulted in an additional $300, noises still present.

Team lacks timeliness.

Danny provided a Tein Manual when requested, but assumed I could read the Japanese version.

For those of you who had a good experience here, that's great , but this is my experience ()that I wanted to share.

use to take my prelude & solara to integrity when i lived in the area. nick does good work and treated me well. sorry you had a bad experience.
