I've been there, good spot, except you have to pay for parking. Parking might be tough for a meet with all the cars unless you meet early.

Can't bring alcohol to the beach unfortunately. Maybe if you disguise it.

hello guys,,
I'll love to show up for this meet as long as it's not 100 miles away from Los Angeles, Hollywood..and I'd say that having a BBQ meet at any Park isn't that bad..I attended the annual G35 BBQ meet last year, when I had the G35, and it was great..huge parking lot..it was big enough to fit more than 60 G35s..
anyways..will check back here for date and time and place..
have a nice day!

Default Let me make a suggestion...

One with plenty of parking, BBQ pits, and a closer-to-the-beach atmosphere:

WHERE:
El Dorado East Regional Park
Long Beach
Spring Street Exit off the 605 Freeway

Here is a linkie...
There's a petting zoo!!!

WHEN:
How about Sunday, July 22nd. Early at around 10AM.
Picnic tables and areas are first come, first serve; that's why we should be early...

WHO:
All are invited!!!

Hmm wouldn't earlier than 10am would be smart? The last time we did a picnic at El Dorado Park, we were there bright and early 7am to stake out a spot.

El Dorado East Regional Park
7550 E. Spring St, 570-1771
Land Area: 400.8 acres

General Information

• Vehicle entry fees are $4, M-F;

$6, Sa/Su and $7 Holidays

• Buses are $26

Other buses are $30

• Daily park hours are 7am-dusk

If people don't mind waking that early on a Sunday, I'm up for it...
