Default San Diego/Linda Vista?

Any of you guys in San Diego? Anything goes on out here? I am on a job transfer here for about the next one year, trying to meet some CL fellows.

Saw a red 97+ SC in Linda Vista today, parked on SC430 rims, belong to anyone here?

Anyways, would be nice if there was a gathering. Rolling a stock 98 SC for the moment.

Then organize one!! When I lived in the bay area, went to the CL meets, they were fun. I work/live in LA, but have been traveling all over last year (Asia/Europe) so no meets for a while.

Was out looking at Condos all day today in SD (sigh), and thus saw a few Lexus in USD area, thus the thought.

We should get something going. What sayyou?

Have been transferred to Old Town. LIving in downtown. Looking for a place to buy (commuteable to Old Town), haven't a clue about san diego. So me and the real estate agent.

Was in Dubai, Brazil, Malaysia most of 2006, so trying to settle back down to the life here again. Have a home and permanent job in Ventura County.

Why not just pick a date to meet, at like a good food place (I don't know anything but Mortons around here), and then post it, and we all show up.

Also where are you located? Is the L on your steering wheel stock? I need one like that. You install your own springs?

I'm from SD as well. The last meet that went on actually took place this past weekend, it was primarily a first gen IS meet with most of the members coming from the "my.is" forums and I think few members from Club Lexus were in attendance as well.

Lots of schools around here have spring break starting the 19th, so people may be gone.

Where did you get your work done? I want to lower my SC. Before I could do it at my house, don't have the time and patience for this SC.

Cool. Well can't wait to meet you and check out the ride, and meet the other fellow CL people.

Oh I didn't know Lexus dealership changed springs, I would bet labor was mighty expensive there?

bob baker lexus does deal with aftermarket stuff, i bought intake and exhaust there. i paid like 200 something for spring install, but i had other stuff done that day, so it wasn't that bad.

They are quoting me $528 for spring install, and $299 for springs. By Edgar Larosa in parts.
