Thanks. I just called him and he is asking $450.00 (labor) for the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, thermostat and some seal. B.t.w whats a seal that is talking about?
You guys think its a good price for the labor or should I keep looking?

I've taken my GS4 here many times and had no problem. have replaced water pump, timing belt, ball joints and had transmission flush and several oil changes and alignment done there.
Ask for Vic, tell him ed from Clublexus recommended you.

I recommended them once to a co-worker all I can say is that my co-worker was very upset.
My co-worker had an appointment at 8am to drop his car off for inspection/brake work so he had to get time off work to drop it off. TLC had the car the whole day and finally called my co-worker at 3:30 to tell him he needs to have something replaced. So basically they had the car the whole day since 8am and probably didnt do JACK til 3pm.
It just takes one bad experience. Funny thing is that TLC didnt think they did anything wrong.

Thanks for the info guys but I found a great mechanic in Pacific beach and one of the mechanic in that shop owns a gs300 as well so he will definetely do a great job on my gs 300. Here is the list of things I am geting done.
Parts from kearny mesa lexus on whole sale price
1. Timing belt.
2. Water pump.
3. Thermostat.
4. Serpintine belt.
But I just found out from my mechanic that my radiator is leaking so I have to get a new radiator as well. My water pump is totally fine and he told me not replace the water pump? What do you guys suggest?

if your going to replaced the timing belt might as well do the water pump too before it pucks you up later down the road. it may seem fine from the outside but not from the inside. i also did all my tensioners. i think thats the same thing that happen to my friend his gs300 radiator leaking. i try to find him one but very expensive :[ maybe the mechanic thats working on your car can get you a wholesale price on a radiator.
