Crime Watch: Schabarum Park, La Puente
Hi Folks,
Having grown up in the Rowland, Hacienda area; a recent news story about an attack on Monday 08/21/06 at Schabarum Park really struck a nerve. Local club members, please be aware of the story and do our best to keep Schabarum Park safe for everyone. We were all kids once and this should not happen.

Help Needed To Find Schabarum Park Child Molester
(CBS) LA PUENTE, Calif. The public's help was sought Thursday to find a child molestation suspect who allegedly attacked a 10-year-old boy in a public restroom at Schabarum Park while the boy's mother waited outside.
The boy had gone to the park, at 17250 E. Colima Road, Monday at about 7:45 p.m. and went into the bathroom as his mother waited for him, Los Angeles Sheriff's Sgt. Diane Hecht said.
The suspect, who was waiting in the bathroom, sexually assaulted the boy, she said.
The suspect is described as having dark hair combed forward, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, 25 to 35 years of age, with red patches on his face.
The suspect is believed to possibly live in the area because he was on a bike. Anyone with information on the suspect's identity can call the Sheriff's Special Victim's Bureau at (866) 247-5877 or the Industry Sheriff's Station at (626) 330-3322.
