SOCAL Team Transport / Toys for Tots Show - DEC 11
Calling all SoCal Lexus owners!
Team Transport's annual Toys for Tots Car Show event will be held at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort in the City of Industry, CA on December 11th (That's the big building all by itself on the hill north of the 60 by Puente Hills Mall).
Come to check out other people's rides... even better, have people come to check out yours! Show off your car!
So keep the date clear and start thinking of businesses or places you can drop toy boxes at!

Team Transport is inviting all the import/sport compact crews, individuals, and exotics to come on out. Many forums are making mega meets out of this event, since it's so close to the end of the year. More info will be posted as soon as we our registration page is completed and sponsor/vendor info is received. If you know of any businesses that would like to have a booth, we are able to sell at this event. We are also looking for sponsors that would like to assist us with logistics or donations in return for exposure and marketing opportunities.

Just wanted to let you all know that we have now opened registration.
$20 per car thru 11/15 (includes lunch)
$30 after Nov 15th.
Spectators still free (keep in mind we are asking all spectators to bring a toy with an approximate $10 value for donation), but we are asking everyone to register to get a better handle on parking.

Folks, this is another worthy event that is local to many of us and for a great cause!!! Come to spectate! Come to show! We are trying to get 200 cars in the car show this year!
Or, if you guys just want to turn this into a grand end-of-year mega-meet we can arrange for a special dedicated ClubLexus parking area.

I should also mention that LUXURY MOTOR SPORTS is sponsoring the "Best Lexus" category. So come out, show your ride, rep Club Lexus and maybe if you're lucky you'll go home with a 6' trophy!!!

As of this past weekend we have over 175 cars registered to show, 3 cable/TV channels will be in attendance, and 3 print media will be in attendance.
Remember that ClubLexus sponsor Luxury Motor Sports is sponsoring the "Best Lexus" category, so get in to show and you could walk away with a HUGE trophy!

Unfortunately, registration has closed. I have heard from our team event planner that we are completely full, with ~200+ cars registered to show, and ~150+ cars registered for our Mega-Meet reserved parking section... Of course you can still attend, but you will have to park in the non pre-registered spectator parking lot, which is only a few hundred yards away.
Other activites besides checking out cool cars (like you need anything to check out besides cool cars):
- Groovy Drift will be holding their end of year R/C drifting competition
- Celebration Racing is bring a "trailer-full" of slot cars
- 4 large inflatable jumper games (2 for kids, 2 for adults)
- 30 items up for raffle, car related and non-car related
- there is a rumor within the team that the Falken drift car with driver Chris Forsberg will be there... and many of you know that where the Falken drift car goes, Courtney Day and Joyce Lex go with it.... we will see!!
We are looking forward to a fantastic event. It should be a great turnout and the weather will be a perfect SoCal fall day, mostly sunny and 70 degrees.
Hope to see some of you there on Sunday! If you think of it, come by and say hi to me (FX35) and Edgy (IS300) in the Team Transport area.
