A taste of Lexus SoCal?
I signed up for the event at the El Toro Marine Base. Has anybody been to this before, is it pretty good food? Can you drive the cars as hard as you'd like? Anyone want to meet during the event?

The one I went to a few years ago had pretty good food.
As for driving the cars hard, if you go nuts you will get a big red "X" written on your badge which will pretty much negate all further efforts to get into any more vehicles.

i went there last year and RA40 (Mike) and other CL members also attended that event. Its a great event and yes, the food was great too! I think the biggest incentive is you will receive a $500 rebate a month later along with a thank you letter from Lexus for attending the event. Unfortunately I did not get to use that coupon towards to my SC. So for those of you who are in the market of buying a Lex soon, you would definitely want to do this!

i went to the el toro one last year and had lots of fun. the food was great and i got to drive all the car pretty hard. got a great feel for all the cars. sweaty hands lost grip of the wooden sc430 steering, knocked a bunch of cones down and still no red x for me.

I'm signed up in October @ Dodger Stadium. Lexus is paying me my way to go

I'm somewhat new to ClubLexus since I don't own a Lexus (yet), so I don't know anyone (except my friend who has owned 2 Lexus). Anyway, I signed up for Sat. 9:15am at El Toro. Hope to meet some members there.
