yea, i remembered seeing some guy get blasted in an argument.. and the rush of running away from cops.. that was when I drove a riced out accord.. but now, i think streetraces are illegal, not safe, and innocent lives taken...

they happen every saturday night in ventura county
and i still go onces and while most of the guys street racing are older over here
in their 30 and older ,vortec brings out their cars so do alll the other shop around here
and some of them are off duty cops that come out 2 races their mustangs and cameros
no matter how stupid you think they are we have all participated in a street race bfore
and if you say you havent your just lying 2 your self

but wtf is the point of going? you race and beat a civic. good for you...what's the point? ( you want

to brag about beating a civic with intake, headers, and gutted cats cuz it's a "sleeper?" )

i mean i guess if it's a high end meet i would understand and try to get in it myself.

but only civics show up at street races because they have slow cars and have nothign to prove

other than they're faster than that other slow civic.

and i'm sure no one from cl is stupid to get their car crushed. which would be a bigger loss than

a 2,000$ civic.

i learned the hard way (not street racing though) bye bye FD... how i miss you...

I used to go (race) one in Ontario, but not sure if that spot is still "active" or not !! One in LA (Crenshaw st.) is not so good... VERY risky, even hangin around "participants" get busted !!! Other than that two places, I go to Diego Stadium to race (legally).

Street races are FUN... NOT the right thing to do but, ya know how it is when you were young and got that turbo kit HONDA !! hahahah.... Impress your honeyz !! hahaha...

Yeah...the one in SD is legal. It's run by "StreetLegal" or something stupid like that. THe thing that sucks about it is it's only 1/8 mile.

I remember racing around ontario...that was before they busted the **** outta everyone there. Ontario is pretty much shut down.

Down by kearny mesa and on the 56 fwy there are races still.

The high end races tend to meet up around del mar and commute to whereever.

oh yeah..if you want to watch...i think it's a $1000 fine if you get caught...JUST watching it

well theres diffrent types of racers over here most of them are older
we see alot of skylines,right hand dr. cars,supras,porshes,vipers, alot of high end cars and low end
and if u get caught over here they dont crusch your car or get arrested you just get a speeding ticket

i like going sometime bcuz some of my friend still races but im not talking about slow civics
im not saying its right but i still luv 2 watch them

Are you talking about the Qualcom 1/8th mile track Jay? I went there a couple of times but the distance is too short and the races are pretty pointless. 1/4 miles are where its at.

P.S. Who cares...cops know all the spots better then we do.
