Mira Mesa still has some action...witnessed 3 races just on my way to a store about a mile away from the hotel I stayed in.

hmmm No....... why would you want to risk losing your car? you can actually lose your car down in san diego. it's not an impound ...you don't get it back.

I used to go to the street races all the time ...and yes they were fun, but they started to attract to many stupid kids.

There use to be a few girls that would flash the drivers to start the races

Anyways I haven't been since Oct 27th 2001 nor was I ever going to go again... why do I remember that date hmmmm...

well Oct 11 2002 I got a letter in the mail stating that I had been street racing, and that I needed to go down to the San Diego court. They had a video tape I admit that was my 4th time every racing, 99% of the time I just went to watch.

so $1400 later, 6months of a restricted license, a misdemeanor on my record , and if I get caught again I get 6 months in jail and another fine.

Street Racing just isn't a good idea.... find a legal track.
