pro tint charge roughly 30$ more than california, but its well worth it
they hand cut the film, they HAVE the laser, but trust me u dont want it. laser cut films dont fit too good somtimes, especially the edge comes out very far away from the edge of the glass. they cut it smaller than its supposed to be.
pro tint cuts on the car and on these big sheets of glass, trust me if u go to jeff hu or philipe they will not hurt your car.
quantum is metallic film, it will not affect radio or gps, but will affect a police detector a little bit (like a escort)
if u dont want metal film, get the film they call hp titanium, its not really titanium, most places use regular black and call it titanium, this is the same with pro tint. there is no place that really has titanium in stock within prolly 100 miles.
btw titanium is blue-shaded black color so thats how u can tell.
the titanium at pro tint is a flat black, its still very good. it has lifetime warranty and does not fade.
but ya. go to pro tint. or if u want email me wjcheng@ucla.edu
jeff hu, one of the tinters is my good friend in real life.
he does side jobs for cheaper.
thanks.

I've tinted many cars at California Tint and that place is good. And they don't just use Johnson tint. They carry other stuff; just remember to tell them which tint you want on your car. Prices will vary depending on what kind of tint you want. No bubbles or anything. Smooth install each time.
As for ProTint and Spreewell Racing, I've never gone there before, but my friend got it done there for a whole lot of money nad it looked like CRAP. Seriously, I saw it and I didn't want to believe he paid that much for it. You would expect Spreewell to contract good tint people, but hell no. I don't know about ProTint on rosemead/lastunas, but "ProTint" at Spreewell sucks. Is it the same people? I don't know.
I would stick with California Tint on rosemead/mission. I've had both quantum and titanium tint done there and it looks great.
Oh yeah, looks like we got some Bruins in the house. 2004 ucla grad here..
