Cruise to Laguna on PCH. Gorgeous drive, lots of eye candy in many forms and a variety of good eats.
For hangs, I like Cafe Pannani in Corona Del Mar just across from the Tommy Bahamas and next door to Rubys on south side of the street on PCH. (Just past the street Avacado.) Food and service are great.
Downtown Laguna has plenty of eats, The White House (I think that is what it is called) has a nice menu selection and it is on PCH. Otherwise, typical things like South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island, Newport...
If you enjoy wine, alochol, cigars, micro brews...blah-blah, have to go to Hi Time Wine Cellar on 250 Oogle St. behind the Mothers Market. That place is like Costco...hard to not spend $100+ once you walk in the door.
Balboa has plenty of to offer too, I don't get there that often though.

I'm going to be with my dad, so he's going to be driving. I'll be at Downtown Disney tomorrow night, if anyone wants to meet up. My dad has his heart set on Disneyland on Monday, and I want to try my hand at surfing in Huntington Beach - maybe a trip to Rod Millen is in order?

It is too late now, I believe that the second Sunday each month, Boyds has an open house at their shop and you get lots of hot rods in the parking lot. Otherwise, their shop is a nice place to drool weekdays. Call to verify hours. I dunno if Foose has a show room, that may be another place and I think they film Overhauling there.
HB is a nice place to surf.

I just got back, Disneyland is meh, it was better at Grad Nite. I did go to Little Saigon in Westminster, the Block at Orange, UCI, bla bla bla. I did go surfing for the first time at Huntington Beach, i loved it.
I didn't get a chance to check out Rod Millen or Super Autobacs, but i do plan on visiting the OC again next summer.
