Just a note on the long distance award. It might be either a raffle for all those who travelled 300+ miles or the longest distance travelled, based off of the address on your Driver Liscense and distance reported by Mapquest.
There might be more than one item awarded depending on how many total sponsor items get donated .
Check the NorCal forums for an announcement of details in early Sept.

Can somebody give me an address of the meeting place so I can pull it on Map Quest. Looks like I will be rolling solo from Diego and I need to know where I'm going to hook up with everybody on that Friday.

on that note. $80 per night is for a decent motel, in a safe location, with plenty of parking and close proximity to just about everything. It's one freeway exit from the meet and a short distance from restaurants, etc.
For those thinking they can shop around and find a lower rate, remember this is in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Nothing is cheap, so you could find a place to save maybe $10-15, but you WILL get what you pay for.
I am working with Ryan to try and get a group discount, but you gotta chime in if we're gonna be able to get a better rate.
