Had a fun time although the Mrs. feels a bit beaten by being the passenger. Lexus does a very nice production with this event.

Drove the following:

BMW 745 LI, 530
MB S430, E500, E320
Lexus LS430 sport and whetever the other LS's were, GS300, GX, RX and IS. The line for the larger SUV's was too much so I didn't get to try the LX and the competitors.

Anyone here have a black GS with the license plate GSXOTIC. (I think that was the plate)

LOL, been in the sun too long again. Saw him too...

Events like this a CL shirt would be nice...which BTW, this would have made this a killer CL meet. Except for GSXOTIC's car, I didn't see many modded Lexi in the lot.

Here is a pic of the primo parking spot he had.

I was wearing my black ClubLexus shirt. I was there from 11 to 5:45 . My favorite moment of the day, when I saw some young college Comp Engineering nerd from UCLA with a big fat red X on his namebadge.

You lived there. we arrived about 9'ish and left about 11:30.

I think I nailed a couple cones because I had no idea where the car was. I was taking one leisurely run enjoying the S430 when someone driving the TL came up on my butt.

Why they had the TL on the luxo side I dunno.

Heheh oops! My favorite car in that side of the course was the LS430 Sport haha. I guess because i knew where all the controls and switches are...they were intuitive unlike the nice riding but pointless electronics equipped 745.

On the sport side, the XLR was a disappointment, the Jag was just as bad. The 545 handled nice and was much friendlier than the 745, it was marginally better than the 6yr old GS design..

SUV's? the GX or LX hands down..
Haha I think we're in all agreement for the choices. The XLR was not bad. I found if you turned off traction control, the car accellerated faster. The Jag...I didn't even bother. I didn't bother to drive the 545 because of the line since I had already drove the 530. Nice car...heavy steering...seemed un-agile. Nice car though. The 5 was a little better w/ergo than the 7 but it still had too much going on for simple stuff. The SC didn't fail to disappoint. Just needs some 20's and a Wald kit just like yours!

SUV's the Escalade was horrible, keep it on the streets. The GX and LX were my fave. Can't go wrong with the adjustable height/comfort suspension. Also the DAC of the GX...love it!

The comments I heard on the luxo side were all for the LS. I liked the sport design too and Iet the others in line go ahead till I got that car. When driving the 745...I had to ask the guy, "How do you move the seat?!"

After all that, I was glad to get back into ours...although I do have yearnings.

Funny you mention that. Considering BMW is supposed to have the best seats (most adjustable)...I didn't find ONE position to be comfortable in the time I was in it. I was constantly changing it while I was driving as a matter of fact.
