U gotta get a temp wheel and send yours to American Stitches to get re-wrapped. That's the simplest way to get it done right that I've found after searching and searching for months...

Wheels America

13139 Rosecrans Avenue

Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670

(562)229-1918 Toll Free(888) 59-ALLOY

They did fix 2 cracked 18" rims and re-powder coated my rims to perfection. I would try them out or call them to get a quote. Most of the time they will need to see the rim to give you an accurate quote. I believe they charge a little more to take the tires off but then again, if they mess them up they can dismount and fix them again....kill 2 birds with one stone.

I will be taking my 20" to them to have the inner and outer barrels fully polished and fix a couple of curbed rims, compliments of FedEx (Scratched and dented while transporting.)and my wife.

I will post up before and after pics, although I might be a little while before I take them off and have them start on them.

Cheers,

Revhard191

I was wondering if you still remember how much they charge you to powder coat the rims.

I just picked up 2 rims I dropped off yesterday. My rims were actually done in THREE hours, so I could have picked them up yesterday. Can you believe that? I think their normal turnaround time is 1-2 days. I had some major curbage on both rims. From what I can tell, they did a good job, and they only charged me $25/rim. It doesn't get any better than that!!

(Just a tip, you need to actually bring in the rims for an estimate. Over the phone, they might give you a higher quote.)

Oh, just FYI, it's a small shop, so don't expect some huge wheel shop. There are a few spots where you can park along Western.
Too bad this place doesn't unmount/mount & balance, my camber wear is 50% the reason why I want the lip polishing service.

I just called this place and they have a flat rate of $130/per wheel and unmount/mounting is another $20/wheel.

Any other recommendations guys?

Hmm only one I can think of that you can try is RBmotoring(www.rbmotoring.com). Just call and ask for a quote.

or just hit up mag masters... i'm getting my wheel repaired right now.

85 a wheel for repairs

polish is 40-85. if your wheels have a heavy clear coat on them, they have to strip it and repolish/coat. i was told 85 a wheel for that.
