I just curbed one of my Volks this afternoon. Can anyone give me a referral on a good shop in the south bay area? San Diego is a little too far for me. Preferrably the Torrance, Carson, or Gardena area.

Thanks!

after you use the polish does it come off when you wash your rims?

I just picked up 2 rims I dropped off yesterday. My rims were actually done in THREE hours, so I could have picked them up yesterday. Can you believe that? I think their normal turnaround time is 1-2 days. I had some major curbage on both rims. From what I can tell, they did a good job, and they only charged me $25/rim. It doesn't get any better than that!!

(Just a tip, you need to actually bring in the rims for an estimate. Over the phone, they might give you a higher quote.)

Oh, just FYI, it's a small shop, so don't expect some huge wheel shop. There are a few spots where you can park along Western.

Has anyone else personally used this wheel shop before?? I called this morning and spoke to a guy named Javi. He quoted me to strip all four wheels,disassemble,re-chrome,and assemble would only cost $300.00 bucks. Does this sound too good to be true. This is being done on my 3 piece Work Rezax II btw.

I will be calling back Tuesday to confirm the price. And here's the kicker, he said they could do all this in 10 days.

Anyone else used this shop before that can make any commendations?

I'd like to know as well if anyone's gone back to this place as I curbed my front passenger side rim pretty bad.

WRS - Wheel Repair Specialist

Located across the street from Mag Masters off of Pomona St.

Been to both shops to have some wheels repaired. Mag Masters is cheaper. If you have a bent rim, I suggest to go to WRS. Mag Masters will only repair the wheel to either 80 or 90 percent. There is even a sign posted in their shop that states that. And when you get you wheel back is it is not all the way repaired, they point to the sign. WRS has a 1 day turn around policy on most fixes and I feel they do a better job at fixing it right the first time.

This was the thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ght=upholstery

But it was more along the lines of repairing a seat. I want to get my steering wheel re-wrapped as well, but need a good quality place that will get the stitching right.
