What to visit and do on Big Island?
Hey guys,
im heading over to the Big Island tomorrow for a whole week.
will be staying at the waikoloa resort at the Hilton Grand Vacation club
apart from play golf, what else is there to do on the big island?
id love to check out the car scene if there is any on the island
also check out the volcanoes
would like to do some snorkeling too
where do you recommend for that?
I will have a rental car (mercury grand marauder...lol) so driving is not an issue
Thanks!

thanks for the awesome suggestions
checked out a few of those places you recommended
went to Greenwell farm, did the tour, shopped for some gifts
their espresso and chocolate/mac nut flavor coffee are delicious
ended up just eating where convenient and did some cooking at the timeshare
also went to Ken's House of Pancakes in Hilo, what a treat
the waitress was so friendly and the oxtail stew was so good
ive never had pancake syrup made out of coconut, guava, and mango
so delicious
one thing i will have to do next time i come is to try out teshimas after i figure out where Kealakekua is
and do a volcano helicopter tour
didnt get to snorkel this time around, but will do so next time for sure
drove along alii drive, quite scenic and i like the parts without the tourism shops
id share some pictures i took with you guys but you guys must have seen it all a million times being so lucky to live in hawaii
