So this bill has not been passed? That's missed up for the Car Audio businesses they will go bankrup once if this bill is passed. I'm not too sure myself if this bill is passed but I've been pulled over couple times by cops reguarding my sounds and mentioned about the 30ft. rule "If the cop can hear it within 30ft from your vehicle, then you are wrong"

yea, there was an article about how the owner of security and sounds emailed some friends of his on the mainland who in turn sent out emails to aftermarket sound companies . They're all sending testimonies on Hawaii's behalf.

im serious, if you read the boom bill and the way its worded, if i was a car dealership i would be foaming at the mouth thinking of all the incoming revenue~ so yea some smart guy could in theory approach some state rep and offer kickbacks for proposing such a ban that has the potential to make MILLIONS~

someone should bust his car, then he'll see how wrong he is...what an idiot..car alarms are solely for protection. At least the car audio ban had a little bit of logic behind it, this one is just plain retarded...

Karl Rhodes is NOT the culprit. He introduced it for someone....probably someone who donated money to his election campaign. You have to find who that someone is....and ask why they introduced this bill.
