i think the pics explain enough here but a simple summary...basically i reversed into the tow hook yups...tow hook definitely won that battle ...from what i heard from the cop...he is at fault but he would only be issued a parking ticket...as far as the damages...that is my responsibility since i had a choice to park there...nothing else much to say except finding a wide open parking at ward starbucks on that afternoon was surely too good to be true...

hopefully in the summertime i can get this fixed...problem is i will have to live with it till then

I am NOT planning to change diffuser...I REALLY REALLY love the look of the TOMS diffuser..

also considering rear camera..well see.

IS agenda:
- still gotta order a new bumper plus I gotta get it painted.
- got the same Toms CF Diffuser on order
- ordered new tires Michelin PS2s from Revision Audio (thanks to Samson)
- might as well get the car aligned with the new tires
- should be up for another 10 quart mobil 1 synthetic oil change lol
- also gotta fix a small dent on my hood
- hopefully i can squeeze in a few mods lol

it is a painful sore eye sight now but the car will be 10 times better than before after everything is completed.

cant afford to down the car since i drive it to work everyday. I was considering about getting a loaner car...still deciding...first i just need to get the parts.

dang, that sucks! atleast it's in the back? so you don't have to see it everyday maybe?

perhaps could you get the toms rear diffuser fixed and just sell it?

well i surely make sure i reverse park against the building at my job lol..

even if i were to fix it...i think the repair would cost more than the amount i would get for it anyway...so yeah it is pretty much a total loss

Damn Cody sorry to see that man I would be hurting too if that happened to me. Sucks too that you can't get the person to fix it since he/she was way out of the stall. Did the person who owned the truck come out? and say anything to you like sorry. That's why I hate trucks with tow hitches.

well i filed a police report for insurance purposes (i doubt i will go this route tho)...and when the police was writing up the report...yes he showed up...it is kina sad tho cuz he never apologized for parking over 4 feet into my stall.

the cop said I had a right to pursue and make sure he gets a parking ticket for parking in my stall but there is no use since the main concern for me is the damages on the bumper/diffuser.

At first I thought the tow hook was "installed" into your bumper by the truck backing into you. Those pictures are hard to look at.

As bad as I feel for you, and believe me I'm not liking what I see!
But running a tow hitch or ball on a truck full time is not illegal.
But it is illegal to be parked in such a way that it, or any other part of the vehicle infringes upon or into another stall.
But giving him just a parking ticket, and not even getting an apology from him pretty much sucks!
In his mind, I think he knows he's wrong......he just no like admit it!
