Default Wheel repair

Apparently there was some unfinished roadwork on Barrington Road during my commute this morning, and at least 3 of my rims are bent. I've previously had repairs done at Wheels America in Elk Grove, but I was curious if anyone has any other/better recommendations.

Anyone have any other recommendations? Also, I know it's a stealership, but does anyone have any experiences with Mint, the cosmetic reconditioning company that's at McGrath Lexus in Westmont?

Went to two shops, both agreed that at least 3, and likely all 4 wheels could not be safely repaired--bends in both the barrel and the hub. The fourth one they might have been able to fix, but the bend was bad enough that they thought a spoke might break when they pulled the rim back out. 2 wheels were cracked in addition to the bends in all 4.

So last week the new wheels went on--Renn Motorsport RS-51. They're flow-formed, so should be a good bit stronger than the old ones, which were Low-pressure cast. Quite a bit lighter to boot, at just around 21lbs for the 19x8.5, and 21.5lbs for the 19x9.5.

I've filed a claim with the state, but won't hear back from them for at least 6 months. Who knows whether they'll actually pay.

I would definalty go to the local police dept and file a report for the damage to your car... The city or contractors are responsible to maintain a safe road. Take a few pics of the road as well. I bet youir not the only victim.

The hole was covered with a steel plate later the same day, and repaired a day or two after. I submitted my claim to IDOT, and they kicked it up the chain to the Construction company, since the state is a supplemental insured on their policy for that project. We'll see what comes out of it.
