Anyone know a good place near Schaumburg? I have a black is350 and would like a professional wax polish remove swirls etc... I live in a condo building now so I don't have my detailing supplies or the ability to do it myself anymore. Woodfield Lexus said they can do it for around $200, and based on my research it looks like they send it to h2o auto spa in Hanover park or at least h2o's website says they do business with Woodfield Lexus so idk?

Any input on experience with places in the area would be appreciated!!!

I have a black IS as well but I detail it myself since I can't trust others so I can't recommend you any places. I do want to chime in that Lexus dealers don't do that great of a job with details. All the dealers sent them off to detailing shops where they do a quick polish and wax basically. I work at a dealer and the cars that come back from a "detail" look terrible to me and I wouldn't pay the $189 they charge. Most cars end up having lots of buffer trails/holograms, still lots of swirls, and the wax only lasts a few weeks. If you're just wanting a basic detail that removes only the lightest swirls/scratches, then go for it but a true paint correction takes many hours to do and most independent detailers charge about $400. Corrected my car's paint this spring, took 10 hours lol.

You're in luck. There is an excellent detailer by the name of Ivan Rajic who owns Lustr Detail
and is in Schaumberg. He's been keeping my ride nice and shiny. He's the BEST!!
