Default sunroof

My sunroof quit working yesterday. Took it to the dealership and they quoted 1,700 to repair. Cables snapped and they have to remove the interior "roof" to replace the cables. 7 hours of labor. FML

Car warranty expired on 8/1/2015 which would have covered this. FML again.

Anyone know of any dealers or certified Lexus technicians with their own garages that may be cheaper to repair?

IS250 AWD 2008, 52,000 miles and yes I used it quite often. Never once had an issue until I heard a "pop".
