Default audio questions for chicago members

i'm looking to get some audio items done to my gs4.

looking to get some lcd screens installed in the back of the headrests and a monitor/dvd/cd in the dash...

would you guys recommend ABT?

are they reliable?

or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I don't know how soon you're planning on getting work done but perhaps we can do a 2-fer special pricing deal. Let me know if you're interested.

I was thinking of doing something in the early spring/summer. I've got to save the cash and convince the wife!

i'm thinking of doing the install for the headrests myself...

i might have them install a monitor in the dash, but i'm going to attempt fate and try the headrests

hey, if you have the skills go for it......the only thing is running the wires from the headrest down to the seat. it sucks cause you can't really get around see them nasty wires, unless you never lift the headrest up and leave it flush with the seat

i'll probably either keep the headrests all the way down or use heat shrink and cover the entire head rest post...
at least the part that's exposed...

most of these lcds i've looked at come with some kind of head rest mount kit or have a mounting kit that you can purcahse separately...
we'll see how it turns out.

i'd love to put in a LCD in my dash too and dump the stock radio system, but i don't like how inconsistent it looks when you put in an aftermarket system... looks totally out of place..

maybe i'll put a LCD in the front passenger visor...

so at least everyone can view the DVDs.

gotta figure out where to mount the XBOX system and whether to put the DVD player in the trunk or in the passenger compartment
