Default who's rocking the 4gen GS?

Curious to see who locally has picked up the new GS and to hear some feedback from locals. Hopefully a few made the move from the 3gen or 2gen GS to share your comparison. (good "or" bad)

Having had the 3gen I am curious to see how the car has grown. I have yet to drive any of the models offered currently.

The more I see it, the more I really like the F-Sport.

Just purchased the 350FSport - great tech and handling - weak engine and cheap interior components.

Just curious. With a weak engine and cheap interior, why did you buy it?

^ well there is NO V8 so I'm sure many have still purchased that may have wanted more power. I would say buyers for all makes will give up a few things in order to to purchase a car.

BlackVeil - did you own a Lexus prior to this car? If so what are your thoughts on the new direction?

I like the exterior style and the AWD for the midwest. Didn't want to pay Benz service bills, so this seemed liked the best alternatives. No, no prior ownership experience with Lexus, but have been in prior versions and the interior finish items seemed to be of a higher quality.

yea I agree the build, fit, and finish was much better in the older Lexus. I had two of them and wasn't happy with interior rattles and minor issues that I wouldn't have expected from a Lexus.

German cars can be fun, but you need to be able to work on them yourself or have a reliable tech that will do side jobs IMO. Did you have any experience with the St. Charles Benz dealer?
