Tail Light tint shop.
Hi all,
I actually live at West Lafayette, IN, and I'm trying to find a shop around here that willing to tint taillight using film, not paint. I'm out of luck trying to find it here so I'm asking if anyone know any good shop in chicago around that does tinting tail lights using film ? and price?
Thanks so much!!

^ they have pre-cut stuff you can get to bring with you. Its not hard to install if you decide to save the drive up you can find some threads in the ISx50 section. I put red outs on my IS350 when I had it to eliminate the orange turn signal that "looked" out of place. If you find that thread its the same process. You can also remove them down the road unlike painting them.

i usually get the film off ebay from jdmtoy, they have a light smoke, and a really dark smoke one. let me know. sunday is cool with me because im busy during the weekdays and sat too , due to remote start season.

ill clarify this , i own a car audio and alarm shop, i do all the installations of car audio and car alarms/remote start. my friend owns the building where my shop is, he is a window tinter and has nothing to do with my buisness. since he is my friend i let him use the garage to tint, he does not do tail light tinting because it would interfere with my buisness. as we all know its against CL policy to advertise for free, thats why i said if he brings his own film ill help him install it for free.

I know that they have film tints for headlights but i figured being in the chicago area it would prob fall off after a couple of months? thats why i used the nite shades but clarify me if im wrong. if its pretty durable ill have to give this a shot sometime

didnt mean to come off that way, i was merely saying a few things. sorry if it sounded as if i were being rude, not my intentions at all.

well I got mine off eBay, I think it was years ago, and I installed them in my garage in the middle of winter. That garage was not heated and never had any issues. If you do a good job the first time I would assume you shouldn't have any issues. I also powered washed the car weekly.
curious why you would want to install on your front head lights, unless its strictly a show car?
