Took my IS-F out to the track this past Sunday for the AMS Track Day and had a blast. This time, I had traction control off and man, it was an adrenaline rush. It was a great day of ACTUAL driving (i.e., traction control off, manual mode, paddle shifted, and the best part was the sliding here and there). Even spun out (almost 360) onto grass coming out of a corner, too much gas, too early....lol. I told myself, damn, just like Gran Turismo spin out, dry grass and dust everywhere.....lol.

First time driving on track w/ traction control off and I tell you what, it was great to exp/learn the raw car dynamic/physics of it all. With this exp, it also tells me how advance all the electronics nannies are. Now I understand why the GTRs rule the track and how they say it can make a 1st timer look like a veteran. It's all good, but definitely learning is best with the nannies off. Like a friends said, driving with traction control is like playing golf with a handicap.

There were all sorts of cars out yesterday, even a big and heavy Chevy TrailBlazer SS. You should all try it out at some time or another. It's fun, good learning experience, and any Lexus model would do, except for SUVs.... Below are some pics.

^^ I think I got one, need to process it though....lol. Been really busy with the 2012 LED headlights. It is a PITA!! But experience is the key, and I now know...lol.

awesome looks like a blast. Wish I had more time to attend more events like this.
