i figured out how to get my foglights to come on using the factory fog light switch and without the headlamps on or the ignition and car on. plus since i have installed led lighting under the car i wired that as well to the factory fog light switch. soo simple to do, and done in under 1 hour. i wouldnt have tried this, but since im very good with electronics i did it anyway. i saw some other posts where people did it, but not with the oem fogh light switch. i didnt want to add another toggle switch, i like a challange.

Linus73 (Steve?), with what you do with audio, you should look into branching out into something like these. You just need an oven and some practice....lol.

oh ok, i get swamped with alot of alarms/remote starters and sound systems. doing stuff like that will require time, which i dont have. besides i need to be a sponsor here in order to advertise this kind of stuff. and im quite happy with my business practices the way they are. thanks though. i have not done that before and would have to get a headlamp from the junk yard and do it first, practice makes perfect!

FYI, this is a cool mod, but when i had this done on my previous car i was getting pulled over all the time in Chicago, so something to think about.

getting pulled over for? the foglights on with drl, or the blue led lights?

because i do not drive around with blue leds, just sometimes the foglights and drl's. no probs yet. thanks though, cops around here dont pull u over for that. all the motorcycles and pisas have thier cars lit up like a xmas tree ...lol

Fog lights on with headlights being off, got a whole spiel about how foglights are not headlights etc lol. No tickets, just got harassed for it. Maybe just bad luck, but i got pulled over 2 x in one week.

oh ok, well i always drive with the drl lights on anyway and since i upgraded them to led they are bright now. so hopefully no issues will arise

Good point, my car didn't have DRL so hopefully you can get away with it.
